This report evaluates progress made since 2019 toward the 39 priority research and data actions identified to advance Flood-Managed Aquifer Recharge (Flood-MAR) across California. Developed by the California Department of Water Resources in collaboration with the Flood-MAR Research Advisory Committee, the evaluation highlights where meaningful progress has been achieved, where work is ongoing, and where gaps remain. It provides practitioners, agencies, and partners with a statewide snapshot of the research, tools, policies, and data foundations needed to scale effective, equitable Flood-MAR implementation.
